On average, dental implants can last 20 years or more if properly cared for. Therefore, maintenance is crucial.

Even with diligent cleaning, the crown or denture on the implant may need to be replaced or repaired depending on usage and lifespan.

Statistical data from Asokmontri Dental Clinic shows a high success rate of 99% of all patients with dental implants lasting over 35 years, and with the potential for a lifetime with consistent post-implant care.

The crown is the top part used for chewing food. This part may wear down, chip, or become loose with use. On average, it lasts about 15 to 25 years and may need replacing depending on wear and tear and lifespan.
