Dr. Song Auttawetchakul specializes in prosthodontics and dental implants. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and a graduate certificate in prosthodontics from Mahidol University, followed by a Master of Science degree and a certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Maryland. He received specialist certification in prosthodontics in the United States in 2002, with additional certifications in 2010 and 2018, and holds the distinctions of Diplomate, American Board of Prosthodontics; Fellow, American College of Prosthodontics; and International Fellow, American College of Prosthodontics.
His academic contributions include invited lectures for the Dental Association of Thailand on implant-supported oral rehabilitation and for Align on combining Invisalign with prosthodontic treatment. He previously served as a special lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry, Thammasat University, and at the Institute of Dentistry, Ministry of Public Health.
According to clinical experience and treatment records reported by the clinic, across more than 35 years of practice he has provided removable prostheses, implant-supported crowns, full-arch implant prostheses, and implant-supported replacement teeth within 24 hours of losing natural teeth. The clinic reports a 99% success rate for implant-supported prosthetic treatment over this period.
He has treated more than 1,500 full-mouth rehabilitation cases, including smile correction and occlusal rehabilitation, and has incorporated digital technology into treatment to the extent that the clinic received recognition as a leader in dental digital transformation.
He also specializes in temporomandibular joint and occlusal disorders, malocclusion, pain involving the masticatory system and related muscles, bruxism, snoring, and obturator prostheses for patients who have undergone surgery for cancer or tumors of the palate, working alongside the surgical medical team in the operating room.
