Periodontal treatment focuses on the health of the gums, tooth-supporting bone, tissues around the tooth roots, and tissues surrounding dental implants. Treatment is planned according to the degree of inflammation, plaque and calculus buildup, gum recession, and supporting bone loss.

Scaling, deep cleaning, and root planing

Our clinic provides scaling, deep cleaning, and root planing using the Newtron P5 Piezo Scaler. Its controlled linear vibrations support precise and effective removal of plaque and calculus while helping to improve patient comfort during treatment.

Deep cleaning and root planing remove plaque and calculus from below the gumline and smooth the root surfaces, supporting gum healing and helping control the progression of periodontal disease.

Esthetic gum surgery

Esthetic gum surgery, also known as periodontal plastic surgery, is performed to improve the shape and appearance of the gums and create a more balanced smile. It may be used to address a gummy smile, uneven gumlines, or gum recession. Treatment is tailored to the condition of the gums and supporting structures around each tooth.

Peri-implantitis treatment

Peri-implantitis is an inflammatory condition affecting the tissues around dental implants. It can lead to progressive loss of the supporting bone and has similarities to periodontal disease around natural teeth. Early assessment and treatment are important for controlling inflammation and limiting further tissue and bone damage.

Bone grafting

Bone grafting may be included in periodontal treatment when gum disease has caused loss of supporting bone. A graft material is placed to support bone regeneration, strengthen the structures around the teeth, and potentially prepare the area for future dental implant treatment.
