Invisalign uses a series of custom-made, clear, removable aligners to move teeth gradually. The most suitable option depends on age, bite, treatment goals, and case complexity.

Invisalign Go
Designed for mild to moderate concerns such as minor crowding, spacing, or tooth rotations. Treatment typically takes 7–15 weeks and uses about 20–26 aligners, compared with up to 50 aligners for full Invisalign. The shorter plan may be more cost-effective, while the clear, removable, custom-made aligners remain discreet and comfortable. Invisalign Go can be provided by a trained general dentist or orthodontist, but it is not intended for severe or complex bite problems. A consultation is essential to confirm suitability.

Invisalign First
A Phase 1 option for children aged 6–10 with concerns such as crowding, spacing, or narrow dental arches while the teeth and jaws are developing. The custom clear aligners are removable, making brushing and flossing easier than with fixed appliances. SmartTrack material is designed for comfort and fit, SmartForce attachments help apply targeted force, and SmartStage technology plans the sequence of tooth movement.

Invisalign Moderate
For moderate orthodontic concerns that need more movement than a limited treatment but are less complex than severe cases. Custom-made clear aligners move the teeth gradually according to an individualized digital treatment plan.

Invisalign Comprehensive
For complex orthodontic concerns, including crowding, spacing, underbite, overbite, open bite, crossbite, and overjet, as well as patients who have had previous orthodontic treatment. The package provides an unlimited number of aligners to achieve the planned result. Treatment may take approximately 1–4 years depending on case complexity and individual response. A dentist or orthodontist will confirm the appropriate plan and estimated duration after a full assessment.

Ask whether clear aligners suit your teeth, bite and goals, which alternatives are available and what limitations each involves. Do not choose a plan only by its package name or advertised duration.

Costs and follow-up

Request the expected appointment schedule, follow-up arrangements and an estimate. Ask whether assessment, additional examinations, related appliances, plan adjustments and retainers are included. Confirm exclusions and what happens if an aligner is lost or the plan changes; do not assume these are included in every package.

Care during and after treatment

Ask for individual instructions on wearing and cleaning aligners, eating, precautions and contacting the team if problems arise. Discuss risks, limitations and retention after treatment before starting. If travelling abroad, confirm follow-up arrangements before booking travel.
